Answered

She was sitting under the street lamp, waiting for him to say something but his lips remained sealed.

"I cannot keep on doing this," she spoke, "You have to give me something."

He looked into her eyes but it was as if his mind was some place else. He did not say a word and walked away.

"Hey," she shouted to the boy whose back had already turned on her, "I will not wait here forever. When..." she paused, "... If you come back, I will not be here anymore." she added with a handful of hope that he will come back.

But he kept walking.
