Secret Letter Wednesday #1: To This Boy

Dear You,

I've had my fair share of smiling-for-no-reason moments but I seriously do not remember the last time I had that. The past months haven't been easy but for some reason, you make things better for me. 

You are probably the most genuine and most humble person I've met and it's really nice having someone of that character around. It's just sad that sometimes I feel like you are putting yourself down. Please know that you are better than you give yourself credit for. You are someone who stands out in a crowd. You are smart, eloquent and true. But the best thing about you is that you have the power to make my day, which by the way troubles me to some extent.

Someday, you are going to come across a girl who appreciates you. And when you marry her, she will be luckiest girl in the world. She will have one of the best men every other girl dreams of having, she will have a keeper. If she won't be good to you, I swear I will slap her for you. 

Thank you for making me smile. Thank you for making things seem so much easier for me. Thank you for not being obviously annoyed at me when I am in a bad mood and thank you for listening to my random rumblings. I do not want anything more than this, at least not now, but stick around because I like smiling because of you.
