Draw The Line

Hanging out with a lot of guy friends who I consider as my brothers taught me where to draw the line between guys actually liking the girls they spend time with and guys who just enjoy the girls' friendly company. I've seen these brothers spend their time with different girls. I've seen how they make it seem like they really want to be with these women when they actually don't want anything beyond a platonic friendship... or a flirtationship.

Contrary to (desperate) girls' popular belief, a man and a woman can hang out as plain buddies. People are not like giant pandas who mate everytime you put them in the same room. They can actually just talk without malice and romantic feelings involved.

This reminds me of the movie called When Harry Met Sally. In the film, Harry strongly believed that two persons of different gender cannot be friends without one wanting to sleep with the other... False! I can never picture myself sleeping with guys I consider my brothers... that's disgusting. I would rather hang myself.

Not because a guy treats you like a princess means they want to be romantically involved with you or sleep with you. True gentlemen treat every other girl like a princess. Again, Every. Other. Girl. The only way to know if he actually wants you is if he says so. I know they say that actions speak louder than words but nowadays, you might want to hear what they really want first. From there, you let their actions prove their words.
