Don't hold your breath

Even if someone shows interest but doesn't do anything about it, chances are, he never will. So never hold your breathe for someone who cannot give you the time of the day because honey, you're going to die.

Perhaps he is scared or maybe he is not ready but if he is really into you, he will do anything to keep you around. You should always keep in mind that anyone who keeps you waiting is not worth your precious time. So don't wait around like a love sick puppy. Don't wait for a phone call that will never come or a trip he will never plan with you because the more you wait around, the longer it will take him to get there. Why? Because he knows you will always be there and whether he does anything for you or not, he will never lose you.

The worst thing you can do is put yourself in a situation wherein you do not know where you stand in a person's life. Consistency and sincerity are two important things. If one of them is not there, walk away -- run, even.
