You are responsible for your life

You have got to stop pointing your finger on to something or someone when you are in a battle. You need to fight back -- fight like hell -- to win the war. Although most of the time, you are actually at war with yourself because you cannot admit that you are the one responsible for your life and all the decisions you made that got you to where you are now.

Whatever shit you are facing, whatever obstacle you need to overcome, you need to put your brave face on and do whatever it takes to get through them. Sitting down and watching your life turn upside down shouldn't even ever be open for discussion.

And no, blaming the universe isn't going to solve anything. Instead, embrace the shit out of everything the universe throws at you, keep those that make you happy and slowly let go of those that won't do you any good. 

Make peace with the fact that, cliche as it may sound, life is never fair. The sooner you accept that, the braver and stronger you will be.
