My Top 5 Favorite Cheesy Films
I am more of a thriller, police-procedural, horror movies kind of girl but I do watch chick flicks from time to time. I have seen ones that make me want to vomit but there are decent films that I can watch until the credits. Here's my top 5, in no particular order:
50 First Dates
This is an amazing movie. And come one, Adam Sandler and Drew Barrymore are like my most favorite people in the world. Well, not really but they are a good team. I would choose Adam Sandler over Adam Levine any day. And yeah, I usually only cry when a dog dies in the movie but 50 First Dates makes me cry every single time I watch it.
He's Just Not That Into You
I gotta say that this is my wake up film. Every time I am caught in a situation wherein I feel like there are signs (although 99% of the time I am only over analyzing), I watch this movie to remind me that hey, he's not interested.
Flipped
This is embarrassing. A twenty-something girl watching a movie about first love (a.k.a puppy love) but this too cute. It has to be on the list! Plus young love is sweet. Don't judge me.
When Harry Met Sally
I think this movie is the reason why I've always believed that the best relationship grows out from a good friendship. It's nice to be in love with someone you know and still find something new about that person everyday.
Serendipity
This has got to be my most favorite John Cusack film. Well, actually this and Say Anything, I haven't decided yet. This film is beyond remarkable. Somehow, it makes me believe in soulmates... again. Though I stop believing when the movie's over. But yeah. Isn't it amazing how someone you've just randomly met in a department store and didn't even tell you his or her name be the person you would spend the rest of your life with?
Okay, I am becoming too cheesy. This has to stop. Bye!
